Indexable and quotable
Indexable and quotable means your homepage doesn't carry noindex, nosnippet or max-snippet:0.

- x-robots-tag noindex
- nosnippet meta tag
- page not eligible for ai overviews
What you might notice
Your homepage's HTML contains <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> (or nosnippet, or max-snippet:0), or your server sends an X-Robots-Tag header with one of those values.
Why it matters
In search engines
noindex keeps the page out of Google; nosnippet stops Google quoting it.
In AI assistants
Google only uses pages that are indexed and allowed a snippet in AI Overviews and AI Mode.
How we test it
We read your robots meta tags and the X-Robots-Tag header. noindex or none fails the check; nosnippet or max-snippet:0 earns half of its point.
How to fix it
Remove noindex and nosnippet from pages you want found. Use them only on pages you really want hidden.
